This year’s theme is “God With Us” and we will consider together what that promise means. In addition, several of the small group presentations and workshops will demonstrate ways of experiencing God’s presence.
The conference will include keynote talks, small group presentations and workshops, ecumenical prayer, music, and fellowship.
It will begin Friday evening at 7 p.m. with the first keynote address and will conclude Sunday at 12:30. There will be special entertainment on Saturday evening.
- Finding comfort, hope, and strength when we personally struggle, whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually
- Finding and providing comfort when we journey with others who are struggling
- Exploring ways we can reach out to a suffering world
All registration packages include three meals on Saturday, a hot, buffet breakfast on Sunday, as well as refreshments Friday evening, Saturday mid-morning and evening, and Sunday mid-morning. All meals include a vegetarian option. Brock University’s catering will attempt to accommodate dietary restrictions; therefore, please inform us of any other dietary requirements.
For most of the conference, a lounge will be reserved for informal socialization. In addition, a classroom will be reserved as a chapel for quiet prayer. Again this year, on Saturday, Crux Bookstore from Toronto will provide a resource table that will include books for purchase.
Following the final session Sunday morning, there will be an ecumenical worship service with optional communion and prayer for healing. For the list of speakers who are currently confirmed, please see the Presentations and Workshops page for more information.
